Strider release date revealed, coming later this month
Double Helix and Capcom have been working on a new Strider game and it will be launching later this month on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. February 18 in the US and February 19 in Europe/the UK is when you can expect to get your hands on the downloadable revival of Strider. 
It will be available through all of the usual downloadable marketplaces for £11.99/$14.99/€14.99.

New Darks Souls 2 trailer shows a harsh and brutal land

Dark Souls 2 is set to launch on March 11 (March 12 in Europe and March 14 in the UK) and it’s looking ready to welcome players in a very Dark Souls like way. That is to say, to chew you up and spit you out. 

Dark Souls 2 will be available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

I don’t think that acronym will catch on anytime soon, but the time where people are starting to compile their lists of their favourite games is here and here is my ten favourite games of 2013.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on Xbox One getting exclusive ‘Jamais Vu’ mission

Owners of Microsoft’s new console won’t be left out when it comes to exclusive content for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes as Konami today revealed a special DLC mission where players will take control of Raiden who has travelled from the future to take care of the Body Snatchers, Snatcher music cues and all.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be launching for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on March 18. Those who purchase the PS4 edition of the game will get the ‘Deja Vu’ DLC mission, view the trailer for that here.

The Walking Dead: Season Two launching on December 17
The next set of episodes in the highly popular adventure series from Telltale Games will be launching for PC on December 17. No date has been confirmed for the console releases, but it will eventually see release on PS3, PS Vita, iOS and Xbox 360.
You can currently buy the full season at a reduced price on Steam for £17.99, when the game goes live it will cost £18.99.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes launching in Spring 2014

The standalone release of the first chapter of Metal Gear Solid 5 will be launching sometime early next year for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. For current gen systems, it is available as either a physical disc or as a download costing $29.99/$19.99 respectively.

Next generation consoles will only be getting a downloadable version which will cost $29.99.

Ground Zeroes will lead into the events of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and introduce players to the open world and other new mechanics to the series.

The Walking Dead: Season Two revealed

Telltale Games have released a teaser for the next season of episodes that continues the story of Clementine months after the events of Season One as she fends for herself in a zombie infested world. Events and choices made in Season One and the 400 Days DLC will play a role in this second season.

The Walking Dead: Season Two is expected to arrive this year for PC/Mac, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and iOS devices.

Trine 2: Complete Story coming to PS4

Not played the wonderful looking, platform/puzzler Trine 2 yet? It has seen enough re-releases that you should’ve by now. Just in case you haven’t, Frozenbyte will be self-publishing a complete edition of the game for PS4. It includes the Goblin Menace expansion and the Dwarven Caverns secret level. 

Trine 2: Complete Story will run in 1080p, 60FPS and will even have 3D support. No release date was given.
