Need For Speed Rivals revealed

The next entry in the long running Need For Speed franchise has been revealed and it will be racing its way to both current and next generation consoles with a planned launch of November 19, this year.

Batman: Arkham Origins full trailer released

Last week’s CG teaser not enough to wet your appetite? Well, Warner have released the full version of the trailer showing off some more of that great CGI.

Batman: Arkham Origins is launching worldwide on October 25 for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360. This trailer also revealed that Deathstroke will be a playable character if you pre-order the game. 

Nintendo and SEGA announce exclusivity deal and partnership
Today’s Nintendo Direct put at least one console war to sleep with the news that Nintendo will have exclusive publishing rights over the next three games featuring the blue blur.

The biggest game announced as part of this deal was Sonic: Lost World which will be coming to Wii U and 3DS, the first screenshot of the game was also released.

Another, currently unannounced, Sonic The Hedgehog title is also in development under this exclusivity deal.
The third and probably weakest title announced was Sonic and Mario at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games for Wii U, which features new events like figure skating pairs. Exciting stuff.
Game Gear titles will be heading to the Virtual Console on 3DS, so you can buy ports of really bad ports of old SEGA games.

Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3, expected Holiday 2013

15 Years of the Gran Turismo franchise will culminate in the launch of the sixth main series entry of the Playstation exclusive racing sim.

Payday 2 launching at retail on PS3 and Xbox 360
Series developer Overkill Games and publisher 505 Games have today announced that the sequel to the co-op, bank heist FPS will be launching at retail, at least the console versions will.

The game will be launching in August for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, but Payday 2 director, David Goldfarb has stated that: 

“We have a bit of a problem here at Overkill — there are just too many great ideas and none that we were really happy to throw out — so Payday 2 has become just too big to reserve release on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network alone” 

So expect the game to launch through retailers as well as the expected digital storefronts on consoles. The PC version of the game will be available through Steam.

Wolfenstein: The New Order announced, coming to PC, PS3 Xbox 360 & next gen

Bethesda and Machine Games have announced a new title in the granddaddy of FPS franchise Wolfenstein. It seems to be in the same style and tone of the last Wolfenstein game that launched in 2009 from Raven Software.
