Terry Cavanagh releases Maverick Bird
Missing Flappy Bird? You should play Maverick Bird, a fan game based on the now-infamous mobile game with that iconic style Terry Cavanagh (VVVVVV, Super Hexagon) brings to all his games.

Shovel Knight digging up NES platformer memories on March 31

Yacht Club Games are readying Shovel Knight for release on 3DS, PC, Mac, Linux and Wii U on March 31. The game recently went into alpha stages and they have released this trailer to celebrate the reveal of the launch date.

Shovel Knight is one of the few success stories to come from Kickstarter last year and will be bringing back many memories of Mega Man and other classic NES platformers with all-shovel based mechanics and a pixel art style.

It’s available for pre-order from the game’s official site via the Humble Store.
