"…is calling upon the Q-Force enough to keep the series running?"

Making the next game in the long running Ratchet & Clank series was never going to be an easy task with last year’s All 4 One being a change in the wrong direction and the original formula being used to its fullest by the time A Crack In Time rolled around. Ratchet & Clank: Q Force screenshots and new details

The next entry in the Ratchet & Clank series will feature the classic camera with third person combat. However tower-defense is the focus this time around with the player(s) fighting to defend against invading forces. There will be five levels set on three different planets so expect a wave combat with the usual co-operative gameplay.

Players will be able to play as Ratchet, Clank or Captain Qwark and play with friends online or split screen. The game will feature different modes, extra character skins and unlockables.

Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force (Full Frontal Assault in the US) will launch sometime in the Autumn.
